NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams hosted their annual Westminster Invitational on Saturday.

For the Titan women, sophomore
Erin Ward (Euclid, OH / Lake Catholic) picked up a second-place finish in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:22.92, just shy of her personal record (2:21.86). In the 100, senior
Nicole Cress (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) placed fourth with a time of 13.19. Sophomore
Natalie Schwarz (Hudson, OH / Hudson) also competed in the 100 finishing tenth with a time of 13.45. Cress and Schwarz also competed in the 200, posting times of 27.39 and 28.10 to finish sixth and 14
th, respectively. In the 400, junior
Maura Belding (Columbiana, OH / Crestview) crossed the finish line at 1:02.94 to finish in seventh place. The 4x400 relay team, consisting of Ward, Belding, freshman
Haley Moore (Greeensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic), and reigning PAC Female Track Athlete of the Week sophomore
Selena Thomas (Farrell, PA / Farrell Area), placed third with a time of 4:20.02. The quartet of Thomas, Ward, Cress, and Schwarz placed second in the 4x100 relay, finishing with a time of 49.72, a new mark in the PAC performance list. In the pole vault, first-year
Morgan Gossard (Johnstown, PA / Richland) placed third, clearing the bar at 3.50 meters.
For the Titan men, senior
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) won the 100 with a time of 10.83, falling just short of his personal record of 10.73 that tops the PAC performance list. Freshman
Amon Sams (Chantily, VA / John Champe) finished the 100 with a time of 11.18 to place fifth. In the 200, Sams was the leading runner for the Titans, crossing the line in a time of 22.96 to finish in 12th. Freshman
Vincent Giles (Lexington Park, MD / Great Mills) obtained a new personal record in the event, finishing in 24th (23.44). The 400 also featured another personal record, as freshman
Jacob Musselman (Denver, PA / Cocalico) recorded a time of 51.18 to finish in ninth place. Another personal record came from sophomore
Dalton Anderson (Butler, PA / Moniteau) in the 110 hurdles, at 16.03 to finish in fifth. The team of Hardy, Sams, Giles, and junior
Bryce Hill (Boynton Beach, FL / Boca Raton Community) placed fourth in the 4x100 with a season-best time of 42.24. Â

The Titans will be back in action Wednesday, April 17, when they travel to Slippery Rock University to compete in the Slippery Rock Open.
