NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's cross country senior Katelynn Morrell (Boardman, OH / Boardman) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Morrell broke Westminster's five-kilometer school record Friday at the Penn State Behrend Invitational with her runner-up time of 19 minutes, 42.6 seconds (6:21/mile). Amy Kepple (19:48) had held the record since 1988. The Titans were fourth in the eight-team field.
 
The Titans' next meet is Friday, September 29 at the Washington and Jefferson Invitational. Starting time is 4:15 p.m.
