NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected softball junior Emiley Westfall (Jefferson, OH / Perry) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Westfall scored the tying run in the sixth inning, with her first collegiate home run, and had the game-winning hit in the seventh in second-seeded Westminster's 2-1 win over third-seeded Saint Vincent College in the Titans' first game of the 2017 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament. In four games at the tournament, she batted .308 with two RBIs and two runs scored, to go along with a .538 slugging percentage. She was named on the All-Tournament Team.
 
Westminster, who advanced to the PAC Championship, finished the season 28-12 overall and 14-4 in the PAC. The Titans' 28 wins were the most in 13 years and tied the third most in program history.
