NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected the men's swimming & diving team as its "Titan Athletes of the Week."
 
The Titans won their second-straight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) title, and seventh overall, over the weekend. Westminster Head Coach Rob Klamut collected PAC Swimming Coach of the Year honors for the ninth time in his career. Titan senior Matt Baurle claimed the PAC's Most Valuable Performer honors, while sophomore Mitch Stahara was named the Longnecker Invitational Men's Swimmer of the Meet.
 
The Westminster men's team also captured league titles in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013, and 2015.
 
Klamut, in his 31st season as Westminster's head swimming and diving coach, announced in September he will step down following the completion of this season to work as the Major Gifts Officer in the College's Institutional Advancement department. He has now led the Titans to a combined 11 PAC titles (7 men, 4 women) since joining the league in 2003.
