Women's Soccer: SUNY Geneseo Continues Westminster's Scoreless Skid

GENESEO, N.Y. - After 67 minutes of scoreless action, the Westminster College women's soccer team lost at SUNY Genseo, 2-0, Sunday for the Titans' fifth straight scoreless game to start the season. The Titans are now 0-4-1 on the season and the Blue Knights improve to 6-1.

Melanie Rocchio netted the game winner for the Blue Knights on a cross feed from Kelly Bergin in the 67th minute. Emily Novak put the game away with an unassisted goal in the 74th minute.
Geneseo outshot Westminster 23-3.

Westminster junior goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) made 11 saves.

Julie Sanger earned the shutout for Geneseo with no saves.

Westminster hosts La Roche Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
