NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - In both teams' first game of the 2011 season, the Westminster College women's soccer team lost at home to Case Western Reserve, 2-0, Thursday in nonconference action.

Case scored two early first-half goals and outshot the Titans 21-4 en route to the win. Rachel Bourque scored the game-winner on an assist from Kendra Simmons in the fifth minute. Simmons netted an insurance goal for the Spartans in the 25th minute.

Junior goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) made 11 saves for the Titans. Her counterpart, Anna Kennedy, made three saves to post the shutout for Case.
Westminster hosts Mount Union Wednesday at 5 p.m.
