WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost its first road conference game of the season as the Titans fell 2-0 at Washington & Jefferson Wednesday night in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action. The Titans are now 3-7-1 on the season and 1-1 in the PAC, while the Presidents improve to 8-3 overall and 2-0 in the league.
Sarah Zeh headed in Holly Shipley's corner kick to put W&J on the board 21 seconds before halftime. Cheyenne Mangold added an insurance goal in the 71st minute.
W&J outshot Westminster 16-10.
Junior goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) made seven saves for the Titans, while Heather Betancourt gloved three shots to earn the shutout for W&J.
Westminster travels to Geneva Saturday night at 5 o'clock.
