GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team surrendered a season-high five goals in a 5-0 loss at Grove City Wednesday in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action. The Titans fall to 5-5-1 on the season and 1-1 in the PAC, while Wolverines improve to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in league play.
Grove City scored 42 seconds into the match on a goal by Cara Colley. After Emily Ostlund scored in the 17th minute to make it 2-0, Shannon Bishop netted a pair of goals in the 38th and 79th minutes. Ashley Sealander then scored in the 80th minute.
Westminster junior goalkeeper Lindsay Moyer (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) made seven saves while facing 18 Grove City shots. The Titans could not score on seven shot attempts, including three by senior forward Danielle Struble (Curwensville, Pa./Curwensville).
Tiffany Yost earned the shutout for Grove City by gloving four saves.
Westminster travels to Chatham Friday at 3:30 p.m.
