CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost 1-0 at undefeated Thomas More Wednesday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game held at the Bank of Kentucky Field.
The Titans' record dips below .500 for the first time this year as they are now 6-7-1 and 2-2 in the PAC. The Saints are 9-0-3 and 3-0 in the PAC.
Thomas More scored late in the first half when Kelsie Rust converted a goal off a corner kick to give the Saints a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute.
Westminster senior goalkeeper Lindsay Moyer (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) made three saves while facing 15 shots. Thomas More used two goalkeepers to post the shutout, including Katie Burger making two saves in the first half and Chelsea Dietz posted two saves in the second half.
The Titans attempted 11 shots including five by senior forward Danielle Struble (Curwensville, Pa./Curwensville).
Westminster plays at Saint Vincent Saturday at 1 p.m.
