NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - In a game between two teams tied for third place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) standings, the Westminster College women's soccer team prevailed over visiting Bethany, 1-0, Tuesday afternoon.
The Titans improve to 13-5-1 and 4-2 in the PAC, while the Bison fall to 9-7-2 and 3-3 in the league.
Sophomore Samantha Killmeyer (Medina, Ohio/Highland) scored the game-winning goal on a free kick in the 68th minute.
The Titans held a 15-8 shot advantage.
Freshman goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) registered her fifth shutout of the season by making five saves.
Westminster hosts Grove City Saturday at 3 p.m. for the final regular season game of the season.
