NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team shut out Saint Vincent, 2-0, at home on Monday night at Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans improve to 10-4-1 on the season and the Bearcats fall to 3-11.
Junior forward Sarah Nee (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) gave Westminster a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute, before junior Danielle Struble (Curwensville, Pa./Curwensville) scored in the 46th minute to account for the Titans' scoring.
Nee and Struble are Westminster's leading goal-scorers for the season with 11 and 5, respectively.
Freshman goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) made three saves in 88 minutes in net for Westminster, as the Titans outshot the Bearcats 16-5.
Westminster returns to action when it travels to Geneva on Friday at 5 p.m.
