FREDONIA, N.Y. - The Westminster College women's soccer team's seven-game win streak came to an end Wednesday night at Fredonia State as the Titans lost, 3-1, after scoring the first goal of the non-conference game.

The Titans drop to 7-3 on the season and the Blue Devils improve to 6-3-1 overall.

Sophomore Samantha Killmeyer (Medina, Ohio/Highland) scored the lone goal for the Titans in the 32nd minute on an assist from classmate Tyler Dever (Salt Lake City, Utah/Highland).

The Blue Devils answered quickly as Julie LaPolla scored in the 33rd minute and Reilly Condidorio scored just 23 seconds into the second for the game-winner. Lauren Heilweil added an insurance goal in the 71st minute.

Fredonia held a 23-7 shot advantage and Westminster freshman goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) stopped 10 shots on goal.

Westminster returns to action at Waynesburg on Saturday at 3 p.m. for its first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game of the season.
