BEREA, Ohio - The Westminster College women's soccer team won 2-1 at Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday in non-conference action as sophomore forward Sarah Nee (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) scored both goals for the Titans.
Nee scored her two goals within a 1:12 span of the second half in the 57th and 58th minutes, giving her a team-high nine goals on the season. The first goal was unassisted off a rebound while the second was from eight yards out from an assist by freshman Samantha Killmeyer (Medina, Ohio/Highland).
Allie Wajtkun scored on a penalty kick in the 66th minute for the Yellow Jackets (3-3-2).
The Titans held a 15-8 shot advantage while junior goalkeeper Lindsey Mellott (Cortland, Ohio/Lakeview) earned the win by making one save.
Westminster improves its record to 7-2-1 on the season as it will travel to Thomas More next Saturday, Oct. 4, for its first conference game of the season.
