Women's Soccer: Adams and Nee Have Career Games as Titans Rout UPG

GREENSBURG, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team cruised to an 8-0 non-conference win at Pitt-Greensburg Thursday evening.

Senior forward Christina Adams (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard) tied a career high with her fourth career three-goal game. Adams scored just 21 seconds into the game before adding the game's second score in the 15th minutes. Adam's deposited her seventh tally of the season in the 50th minutes to give the Titans a 5-0 lead. Adams also assisted on two goals giving her eight points.

Sophomore forward Sarah Nee (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) also scored a hat trick in the game with her fifth, sixth and seventh goals of the season in the 24th, 45th and 51st minutes. Nee also assisted on Adams' first two goals giving her a career-high eight points in the game.

Junior forward Lauren Graeser (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) and freshman midfielder Samantha Killmeyer (Medina, Ohio/Highland) potted the game's final two goals with their second and fourth goals of the season, respectively.

Freshman goalkeeper Kara Kendall (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington) made just one save in her first career appearance to register the shutout win. The Titans outshot the Bobcats (0-4-1) by a count of 21-2.

Westminster (5-2-1) returns to action at La Roche on Sept. 24 for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
