BRADFORD, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team improved its record to 2-0-1 with a 4-0 non-conference win at Pitt-Bradford (0-3) on Wednesday.
Freshman midfielder Hannah Schade (Timberlake, Ohio/Villa-Angela St. Joseph) scored her team-high second and third goals of the season, coming in the 36th and 73rd minutes.
Junior defender Jessi Losteter (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) gave the Titans a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 21st minute, while freshman midfielder Emily Fitchwell (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) netted her first collegiate goal in the 46th minute to give Westminster a 3-0 advantage.
Westminster was again sound defensively allowed just five shots (one on goal). The Titans got off 34 shots, including seven by senior midfielder Kait Etzel-Hardman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin), who also assisted on Schade's second goal.
Westminster returns to action with a non-conference home game vs. La Roche, Saturday at 1 p.m.
