NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost to Thomas More in overtime, 1-0, Saturday in a game between the top two teams in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
The Saints (16-2, 7-0 PAC) now earn the top seed in the PAC Championship Tournament next week, while the defending-champion Titans (13-4-2, 6-1 PAC) are the second seed.
Brittany Yeggy scored the game-winning goal for Thomas More 9:20 into the first overtime period on an assist by Angie Kersting.
The Titans out-shot the Saints, 17-12, including seven by junior midfielder Christina Adams (Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard), while Westminster sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Mellott (Cortland, Ohio/Lakeview) made all five of her saves in the second half.
The second-seeded Titans will host third-seeded Grove City Tuesday in the PAC semifinals.
