Westminster men sixth at Bedford Springs Invitational

BEDFORD, Pa.--The Westminster men's golf team finished in sixth place at the Bedford Springs Invitational, presented by Lampire Biological Services, on Tuesday. The event, which was hosted by Moravian, was played at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort.

Saint Vincent won the seven-team event with a team score of 308. Westminster registered a score of 341. Goucher's Mikolaj Pula was medalist with a one-over 73.

Junior Tyler Hager (Lehighton, Pa., Palmerton) finished in a five-way tie for 10th place with a seven-over 79. Freshman Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) tied for 19th with an 81 while freshman Connor Ealy (Butler, Pa., Moniteau) was 31st with an 89. Senior Nick Vitale (New Castle, Pa., Union) and freshman Aiden Barker (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) were 34th (92) and 35th (94).

Up next:
Westminster is scheduled to participate in Grove City's annual McBride-Behringer-Allen 'MBA' Invitational next Monday, April 20. The event, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., will be held at the Grove City Country Club.
