Four earn Academic All-District® At-Large

GREENWOOD, Ind.--Four student-athletes from Westminster's men's golf and lacrosse programs were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large selections Tuesday afternoon.

Rising senior Jonathan Haddox (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) was recognized from the men's golf program. Recent graduate Asher Silberling (Redondo Beach, Calif., Redondo Union), along with rising juniors Ethan Kurtz (Hummelstown, Pa., Lower Dauphin) and Jack Poller (Huntington, N.Y., Harborfields), were recognized from the men's lacrosse program.

All four earned Academic All-District® for the first time in their careers. 

Haddox owns a 3.79 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) while pursuing a bachelor's degree in early childhood and special education. He has been named to the College's Dean's List five times and is a two-time Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll selection. Haddox finished the two spring championship rounds with a 166, carding an 80 in the third round and an 86 in the fourth round.

Westminster finished sixth at the PAC Championships, concluding the 72-hole event with a team score of 1267.


Silberling, a short-stick defensive midfielder, graduated cum laude on May 9 with a bachelor's degree in business administration while maintaining a 3.60 cumulative GPA. He is a three-time Dean's List honoree and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll twice. Silberling finished his career with five goals, five assists, 81 ground balls and 51 caused turnovers. During the 2026 season, he recorded multiple ground balls in eight games. Silberling collected four ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in a 13-5 win at Allegheny on April 22. 

Kurtz, an attacker, carries a 4.00 cumulative GPA while pursuing a bachelor's degree in broadcasting and sports communications. He has been named to the College's Dean's List four times and to the PAC Academic Honor Roll in the spring of 2025. Named the 2025 PAC Newcomer of the Year and a two-time Honorable Mention All-PAC selection, Kurtz finished the season with team high of 43 goals (including one game-winning goal and four man-up goals) and 22 assists. He added 20 ground balls and four caused turnovers. Kurtz ranked among the PAC's top five in goals per game (2.26).

Poller, a defender, maintains a 3.93 cumulative GPA while pursuing a bachelor's degree in history. He is a four-time Dean's List selection and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll in the spring of 2025. Poller earned Honorable Mention All-PAC honors for the first time in his career. He finished with three goals, six assists, 50 ground balls and a team-high 26 caused turnovers. Poller recorded a career-best six ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 13-5 PAC victory at Allegheny on April 22.

Westminster, the No. 4 seed in the championship tournament, wrapped up its season with a 12-7 record. The 12 wins are the most single-season victories in program history.
