Reed earns spot on D3baseball.com Team of the Week

FAIRBANKS, Alaska--Westminster senior Josh Reed (Beaver Falls, Pa., Blackhawk) was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week Wednesday.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll. It is in its 15th season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors. This is the seventh Team of the Week of the 2026 season.

Reed highlighted Sunday's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) sweep of Saint Vincent by firing a one-hit shutout with a career-high seven strikeouts in the Titans' 6-0 game two victory. Reed allowed two baserunners all game and retired 14 straight batters after Lane Golkosky's first inning, one-out single and finished the game retiring 12 straight. The 103-pitch outing was Reed's second win this season.

Westminster (15-5, 6-0 PAC) hosts PAC rival Geneva (9-9, 1-5 PAC) Saturday. First pitch of the nine-inning doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m.
