Dye named PAC Field Athlete of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster sophomore Rylan Dye (Hermitage, Pa., Hickory) was named a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

Dye, this week's PAC Field Athlete of the Week, won the high jump at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday afternoon after clearing 1.95 meters (6-04.75). It is currently the top mark in the PAC.

Dye is now a three-time PAC weekly award winner. He was recognized as the league's indoor field athlete of the week on Dec. 9, 2025. Dye earned the conference's outdoor newcomer of the week award on March 18, 2025.

Up next:
Westminster is scheduled to compete at the Dave Labor Invitational, hosted by Slippery Rock, next Friday and Saturday at the William C. Lennox Track inside Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Friday's events will begin at 1:30 p.m. Events will get underway at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
