Westminster participates at YSU Last Chance

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio--The Westminster women's indoor track and field team participated in the Youngstown State Last Chance, presented by Southwoods Health, on Friday. 

Sophomore Grace Iwig (Greensburg, Pa., Hempfield) finished eighth in the seeded pole vault event, clearing 3-63 meters (11-10.75), and 11th in the high jump, clearing 1.56 meters (5-01.25). Senior Missy Treharne (Burton, Ohio, Beaumont School) was 11th in the pole vault (3.48m, 11-05.00) while classmate Shelby Rambo (East Palestine, Ohio, Crestview) finished 16th in the shot put (12.51m, 41-00.50) and 35th in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles (10.08). 

Junior Jenna Zendron (West Sunbury, Pa., Moniteau) finished 23rd in the 200 (26.98), 26th in the 400 (1:00.93) and 33rd in the preliminaries of the 60 (8.29). Freshman Zoe Puhala (Brockway, Pa., Brockway) was 27th in the 800 (2:24.99) and 45th in the 400 (1:03.77) while classmate Gabby Armlin (Middleburg, N.Y., Middleburg Central) finished 27th in the 5000 (21:39.70).


Up next:
Westminster will participate in the WGH PAC Tune-up next Saturday at the Warren City Schools Student Recreation and Wellness Center. Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
