Robinson earns Defensive Player of the Week honors from PAC

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Following a 4-0 weekend at Wooster's Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic, which was highlighted by a reverse sweep against Bluffton Friday, Westminster College's Jamie Robertson (Los Angeles, Calif., Palisades Charter) took home Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the Week honors Monday afternoon.

The league's weekly award is the first of Robertson's career.

A senior middle hitter, Robertson was named to the all-tournament team after totaling 15 blocks (0.94/s) in the Titans' four wins. She also finished the weekend hitting .340, posting 24 kills (1.50/s) on 53 attacks. Robertson shined in Friday's five-setter with Bluffton, registering eight kills, four blocks and three service aces. In Saturday's 3-1 victory over Wooster, Robertson hit .538 with seven kills on 13 swings. She added four blocks and three service aces.

Robertson's 25 total blocks (6-19) rank fourth in the PAC. She is No. 2 in the league with a .311 hitting percentage.
