Davis scores pair of top-10 finishes at Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio--Graduate student Breannda Davis (Streetsboro, Ohio, Streetsboro) ran to a pair of top-10 finishes Friday afternoon to lead Westminster College's women's outdoor track and field program at Baldwin Wallace University's Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet.

Davis finished in eighth place in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute, 06.79 seconds and was eighth in the high jump, clearing 1.59 meters (5-02.50).

Junior Shelby Rambo (East Palestine, Ohio, Crestview) was 10th in the shot put with a top throw of 12.24 meters (40-02) while freshman Brooke Gecina (Aurora, Ohio, Aurora) was 16th in the shot put with a throw of 11.09 meters (36-04.75), tying her personal-best mark, and 20th in the hammer throw (36.20m, 118-09).

Up Next:
Westminster is scheduled to compete at the SPIRE Institute's NCAA Last Chance Meet on Monday in Geneva, Ohio. Events will commence at 1 p.m.
