Rambo third in shot put, discus at Mount Union

ALLIANCE, Ohio--Westminster College junior Shelby Rambo (East Palestine, Ohio, Crestview) finished third in both the shot put and the discus at the Stark County Challenge, which was hosted by the University of Mount Union, on Friday afternoon.

Rambo had a personal-best throw of 12.60 meters (41-04.25) in the 21-competitor shot put field. She registered a top mark of 38.63 meters (126-09) in the 21-competitor discus field.

Westminster is scheduled to split its squad on Friday-Saturday, March 28-29 to compete at West Liberty University's Tim Weaver Invitational and the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational.
