DiSora named to D3football.com Team of the Week

MINNEAPOLIS--Westminster College freshman Gianni DiSora (Pittsburgh, Pa., Upper St. Clair) was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week Tuesday morning.

The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week.

DiSora returned a Landen Jackson second quarter punt 83 yards for a touchdown in Saturday's 48-6 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over Thiel at Memorial Field inside Harold Burry Stadium. Westminster, celebrating its Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the PAC. It was the Titans' fifth-straight Homecoming triumph. It is the second-longest punt return in Division III this season. DiSora is one of 10 Division III players (2 freshmen) with a punt return for a score in 2025.

DiSora claimed PAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors Monday. It was his first weekly award.

Westminster will travel to Mercer County next Saturday to take on rival Grove City (4-2, 3-1 PAC), a 42-6 winner at Allegheny Saturday evening. Kickoff from Robert E. Thorn Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
