DiSora, Goode earn PAC weekly honors

10/20/2025 4:02:00 PM

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College freshmen Gianni DiSora (Pittsburgh, Pa., Upper St. Clair) and Quentin Goode (Aliquippa, Pa., Aliquippa) were named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Football Players of the Week Monday afternoon.

DiSora claimed PAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors while Goode was lauded as the PAC's Newcomer of the Week after their individual performances in Saturday's 48-6 PAC victory over Thiel at Memorial Field inside Harold Burry Stadium. Westminster, celebrating its Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the PAC. It was the Titans' fifth-straight Homecoming triumph.

It is the first weekly honor for both players.

DiSora returned a Landen Jackson second quarter punt 83 yards for a touchdown Saturday. It is the second-longest punt return in Division III this season. DiSora is one of 10 Division III players (2 freshmen) with a punt return for a score in 2025.

Goode making his first career start, completed 23-of-29 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns Saturday. His 324 passing yards were the most in a game since Cole Konieczka threw for 327 in a 42-14 win over Allegheny on Sept. 17, 2022. Goode's 324-yard game ranks seventh among program leaders for most passing yards in a single game. He completed passes to eight different receivers Saturday.

Up next:
Westminster will travel to Mercer County next Saturday to take on rival Grove City (4-2, 3-1 PAC), a 42-6 winner at Allegheny Saturday evening. Kickoff from Robert E. Thorn Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.
