Women's swimming falls to Penn State Behrend

ERIE, Pa.--The Westminster College women's swimming and diving program fell to Penn State Behrend 157-87 Saturday afternoon at the Junker Center Pool.

Westminster fell to 2-2 while Penn State Behrend improved to 3-0-1.

Senior Sara MacMurdo (Pittsburgh, Pa., Carlynton) won the 50 free with a time of 26.43 seconds. Junior Isabella Barnabei (Oakland, N.J., Indian Hills) won the 400 IM with a time of 5:11.44. Senior Amber Krebs (Whitewater, Wis., Whitewater) finished second in the 1000 (12:18.26), sophomore Preslie Bodine (Poland, Ohio, Poland Seminary) was second in the 100 breast (1:16.45) and freshman Avery O'Sullivan (Washington, Pa., Trinity) was second in the 400 IM (5:45.39).

Westminster's "A" team won the 400 free relay with a time of 4:23.82. Members of the relay included senior Annabelle Turner (Butler, Pa., Butler), freshman Taylor Moats (Corry, Pa., Corry), O'Sullivan and senior Lily Hefner (Washington, Pa., Homeschooled).

Westminster will travel to Clarion University's Waldo S. Tippin Natatorium Friday. The meet is scheduled for 6 p.m.
