GREENWOOD, Ind.--Three members of the Westminster College women's swimming and diving program were recently named Academic All-District® selections by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Juniors Maddy McClain (Elizabeth, Pa., Elizabeth Forward) and Annabelle Turner (Butler, Pa., Butler), along with sophomore Emily Yurko (Boardman, Ohio, Boardman), were recognized.

A biology major, McClain carries a 3.74 cumulative grade-point average (GPA). She is a four-time Dean's List selection and has been named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll twice. At the PAC Championships in February, McClain captured the title in the 1650 freestyle on the final night of the championships with a winning time of 17:59.23, which was nearly 14 seconds better than the event's second-place finisher. McClain, the runner-up in the event in 2024 and 2025, entered the event with the No. 2 seed time. She was Westminster's first 1650 champion since Anne Tillie in 2017. McClain also finished third in the 500 freestyle (5:17.48) and 400 IM (4:43.53). She anchored Westminster's second-place 800 freestyle relay (8:17.82) and third-place 400 freestyle relay (3:47.65), swam freestyle on fifth-place 200 medley relay (1:58.06) and swam butterfly on the sixth-place 400 medley relay (4:21.91). McClain was named All-PAC for the third-straight year (First Team 2023-24, 2025-26; Second Team 2024-25).

Turner, a history major, maintains a 3.91 cumulative GPA. She has been named to the College's Dean's List five times and is a two-time PAC Academic Honor Roll selection. Turner finished seventh in the 200 butterfly (2:19.69), 10th in the 500 freestyle (5:34.95) and 14th in the 100 butterfly (1:05.20). She swam the second leg on 800 freestyle relay, swam butterfly on the 11th-place 400 medley 'B' relay (4:33.90), swam butterfly on the 12th-place 200 medley 'B' relay (2:03.28) and swam the second leg on the 12th-place 400 freestyle 'B' relay (4:02.28). Turner earned Second Team All-PAC.

An early childhood/special education major, Yurko carries a 3.67 cumulative GPA. She has been named to the College's Dean's List twice and was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll once. Yurko was named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team at the conclusion of the championships.
