STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Westminster baseball team swept Franciscan on the road in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader Saturday afternoon. The Titans won game 11-2 and game two 14-4.

"We did a lot of good things today," said head coach Pat Riley. "It's nice to get the first two of the series but we need to have a short memory and the third one tomorrow."

Westminster (12-4, 7-0 PAC) gained the early advantage by scoring six runs in the first, capped by single from first-year
Braeden Campbell (Glenshaw, PA / Shaler) that batted-in senior
Ryan Jolin (Williamsport, PA / Williamsport Area). The Titans held Franciscan (9-8, 1-4 PAC) at bay from the rest of the game. Junior
Frankie Manios (Warren, OH / Howland) earned the win with a pair of strikeouts.

In game two during the seventh, senior
James Diamond (Moon Twp, PA / Moon Area) launched a solo home run which kickstarted a five-run inning for the Titans. Sophomore
Logan Exler (Verona, PA / Serra Catholic) earned his first win of the season with three strikeouts.

Diamond led Westminster with three home runs and four runs-batted-in on the day. Sophomore
Logan Murgenovich (Aliquippa, PA / Central Valley) went 2-for-5 with a pair of runs-batted-in during game two. Campbell went a combined 4-for-8 with two runs-batted-in. Sophomore
Carter Chinn (Grove City, PA / Grove City) launched his first-career homer with two runs-batted-in during game one.
