BETHANY, W.Va. – The Westminster softball team remained undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC), while extending its winning streak to 12 games, following a doubleheader sweep at Bethany.
The Titans came back from being down 3-0 in the fifth inning to win game one, 9-4, in nine innings, followed by a dominant 10-2 win in five innings in game two.
"Adversity sure can show the character of a team," said head coach
Jan Reddinger. "It was good to see them battle an entire game and get rewarded for it. We grew as a team today."

Leah Pancake (North Lima, OH / Beaver Local) highlighted game one with a two-out game-tying three-run homerun in the fifth, knotting the game up at 3. Pancake followed that with a lead-off homer in the ninth, part of a five-run inning, completing the comeback-win for Westminster (21-2, 8-0 PAC) – Pancake's second career multi-homerun game. Alexis Yates (Oakdale, PA / South Fayette) with three. Senior pitcher
Madison Brown (Lisbon, OH / East Liverpool) improved to 10-1 on the year with a complete game win, while striking out seven.
Westminster jumped out early in game two and led 3-0 after two innings and did not look back. Registering multi-RBI performances for the Titans were first-year
Mia Meholick (Dubois, PA / Dubois Central Catholic) and sophomore
Elizabeth Malczak (Grove City, PA / Grove City) with two. Malczak also improved to 10-1 on the season with a complete game victory.
The Titans are back with three-straight home doubleheaders, starting with Thiel on Monday, April 18. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
