BETHANY, W.Va. – The Westminster baseball team won, 8-7, on the road against Bethany in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup Sunday afternoon.

"We did a good job grinding it out today," said head coach
Patrick Riley. "We didn't get off to a good start, but we battled through and found a way to get the win. I'm happy with how we competed in what can be a tough place to play."

In the top of the seventh, Westminster (14-7, 9-3 PAC) rattled off six runs to take an 8-6 lead, capped by first-year
Braeden Campbell's (Glenshaw, PA / Shaler) single that scored senior
Matt Costello (New Castle, PA / Union Area) and sophomore
Carter Chinn (Grove City, PA / Grove City). The Titans held Bethany (13-11, 5-6 PAC) at bay to secure the victory. Senior
Logan Minch (Grove City, PA / Grove City Area) earned his third win of the season with a team-high three strikeouts.

Seth Schrader (Fredonia, NY / Fredonia), who went 3-for-5 with a pair of runs-batted-in, followed by sophomore
Logan Murgenovich (Aliquippa, PA / Central Valley), who also went 3-for-5.

The Titans return to action Monday, April 11 at Hiram for a non-conference bout. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
