ADRIAN, Mich. – The Westminster men's lacrosse team won, 10-9, against Adrian on the road in a non-conference contest Thursday night.
"We competed until the end," said head coach
Travis Brown. "We handled the adversity of a mid-week schedule change. We never give up, we believe, and we grew a lot at the end of the game after playing in overtime last week. We're glad we came away with a win."
Adrian (3-1) gained early momentum after scoring first, however, Westminster (2-1) scored the next three goals. The Titans led 3-2 at halftime.
In the second, Westminster started strong as it scored four of the next six goals (7-4). The Bulldogs' offense cut Westminster's lead by one (10-9), however, in the closing minutes, the Titan defense tightened up to secure the win.

Joe Rosa (Newton, NJ / Kittatinny Regional), who scored his 100
th career-point in the contest with three goals (tied a team-high) and one assist. Junior
Boyd Foster (Lincoln, RI / Lincoln) registered a career-best three goals to go with one assist. Sophomore
Payton Waight (Ithaca, NY / Ithaca) notched a pair of goals and one assist. Junior
Ryan Greer (Cranberry Township, PA / Seneca Valley) chipped in with a goal and a team-high two assists. Sophomore
Jimmy Sentz (Catonsville, MD / Loyola Blakefield) added a goal and an assist. The defensive charge was led by senior
Mike Roman (Fort Washington, PA / Germantown Academy), who tied a career-best 10 ground balls with a game-high six caused turnovers.

Bradley Green (Landisville, PA / Hempfield) earned the complete game win with eight saves.
The Titans return to action Sunday, March 13 at Alvernia in a non-conference matchup. Start time is set for 3 p.m.
