ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Westminster men's golf team competed in the Mount Union Invitational over the weekend.
The Titans carded a 641 (314-327) for seventh out of eight schools.
Westminster was led by first-year
Ellian Ascencio (Venetia, PA / Peters Township) who shot a 157 (74-83), tying for 23rd. Rounding out the Titan competitors were first-year
Gavin Batdorff (Berlin Center, OH / South Range) (161, 79-82), senior
John Popa (Salem, OH / South Range) (162, 79-83), first-year
Portland Canovali (Pittsburgh, PA / North Allegheny) (163, 82-81), and
Logan Marnik (Carnegie, PA / Chartiers Valley) (170, 89-81).
