LATROBE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's golf team competed in the Saint Vincent College Invitational on Wednesday at Glengarry Golf Links.
The Titans finished in third place out of six teams with a team score of 314.
Sophomore
Jonny Stuckert (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) paced the Titans, firing a career-low round of 72 to finish tied for third in the 29-player field. Stuckert's round bested his previous career-low of 75, which he shot at the Grove City MBA Invitational earlier this month. Junior
Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH / Lisbon David Anderson) carded a four-over round of 74 to finish in a tie for seventh place. Andric's 74 is the best round of the spring season thus far. Reigning Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week
Michael Bell (Canonsburg, PA / Peters Township) shot an 83 to finish tied for 20th. Senior
Frank Pantano (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) finished the scoring for the Titans with a round of 85 to finish tied for 23rd. Senior
Connor White (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) rounded out the efforts for Westminster, shooting an 86 to finish tied for 25th.
The Titans will next prepare for the 2019 PAC Spring Championships. The event will be contested at Speidel Golf Club at Oglebay Resort on Saturday, April 27.
