NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected senior midfielder Ryan Shorts (Westlake Village, CA / Oak Park) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Shorts finished with three goals, two assists, one ground ball and a caused turnover Saturday in Westminster's home-opening 10-8 come-from-behind victory over Neumann. His first score came off of a junior Tyler Nordby (Burnt Hills, NY / Burnt Hills) assist and evened the match at 4-4 with under two minutes to play in the first quarter. His third goal, which proved to be the game-winning score, gave the Titans a 9-8 lead and came off of a junior Chris Slater (Plum, PA / Central Catholic) assist with under 14 minutes remaining in regulation.
 
Westminster will next play a non-conference game at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, Wednesday, March 13 at 5 p.m.
