NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected men's golf junior Avery Andric (Lisbon, OH/David Anderson) as its Titan Athlete of the Week for his performance during the week of September 17.
 
Andric claimed medalist honors at the 56-player La Roche Invitational last Tuesday at Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park, Pa. He fired a five-over 76 and tied Pitt-Bradford's Johnny Fiore after the completion of the round before earning the win in a one-hole playoff. Andric tied for eighth (148, 75-73) at last weekend's 68-player Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio before tying for 22nd (83) Monday at the 63-player Westminster Fall Invitational, hosted by the New Castle Country Club. He averaged a score of 76.8 over last week's four rounds.
 
The Titans will next compete in the two-day PAC Fall Championships at Avalon Lakes in Warren, Ohio, starting on Monday, October 1.
