NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected sophomore midfielder Ryan Shorts (Westlake Village, CA / Oak Park) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Shorts, who also earned the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) Men's Offensive Player of the Week honor, led the Titans to their first conference victory of the season as he registered a game-high seven points in Westminster's 14-8 win over Mount St. Joseph on Saturday. Shorts led the Titan offense as he tied a game-high with four goals and dished out a team-high three assists.
 
Westminster will return to action tonight at home against La Roche at 7:30 p.m.
