NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected junior Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Hardy was named the Men's Overall Track & Field MVP, the first Titan to earn this honor, at the 2017 Indoor PAC Championships on Thursday. Hardy won the 60-meter dash for the second-straight year with a PAC-record time of 6.91; he ran 6.98 in the preliminaries, marking the first time a male runner has run under 7.00 twice at the PAC Championships. Hardy also won the 200, the first Titan champion in this event, with a school-record time of 22.09.
 
Select members of the Westminster indoor track & field teams will compete in Ohio Northern University's Last Chance Invitational on Friday, March 3.
