NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected the men's outdoor track & field team as its "Titan Athletes of the Week."
Westminster won the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship title with 174.50 points on Saturday. Titan senior
Nick Fiorentino (Franklin, Pa. / Franklin) won the meet's overall Men's Most Valuable Performer (MVP) award for the second-straight year. Fiorentino finished first in the shot put (47-07.75), first in the discus (146-05) and fourth in the javelin (158-05). He was also named the event's Field MVP. Westminster sophomore
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, Md. / North Point) claimed Track MVP honors after winning the 100-meter dash (school-record 10.57) and 200-meter dash (21.81) and running the second leg on the Titans' winning 400-meter relay (42.06). Westminster ninth-year Head Coach

Westminster is next scheduled to compete at Slippery Rock University on Friday, May 6.
