NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected sophomore sprinter
Jaevon Hardy (Waldorf, MD / North Point) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
Hardy earned first-place finishes in the 100 (10.82) and 200 (21.63) and as a member of the Titans' winning 400 relay (41.86). His time in the 100 and the Titans' time in the 400 relay were both school records. All three of Saturday's efforts are the best among PAC counterparts this season. Nationally, his time in the 200 ranks 10th, while his time in the 100 is tied for 21st and Westminster's time in the 400 relay ranks 15th.
Westminster will next compete at Slippery Rock University's Dave Labor Invitational on Thursday, April 21, the last meet before the PAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
