NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected men's lacrosse sophomore Zack Shorts (Westlake Village, CA / Oak Park) as its Titan Athlete of the Week.
 
Shorts scored three goals with four ground balls as the Titans earned the program's first ever win with an 8-5 victory over Medaille College on Tuesday.  Shorts followed that effort with six goals, one assist and five ground balls in a 19-7 conference win over Defiance College on Saturday. For the week, Shorts totaled nine goals, one assist and nine ground balls. He was also named the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Westminster (2-0, 1-0 ORLC) will host Saint Vincent College in a 1 p.m. conference match on Saturday.
