Men's Soccer: Titans Play to a 1-1 Double Overtime Tie with Behrend

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie in double overtime against Penn State Behrend at home Saturday.

The Lions led for much of the match after Ahmad Salim scored a goal in the seventh minute on a breakaway. Westminster tied the game in the 77th minute when senior forward Andrew Saporito (Irwin, Pa./Penn-Trafford) scored a cross in the box from classmate forward Garrett Horvath (Southlake, Texas/Southlake Carroll).

Freshman goalkeeper Mike Codita (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) played well in net for the Titans making 11 saves.

Both teams' records are now 3-2-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Penn State Beaver Tuesday for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
