Rankin earns PAC Player of the Week award

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster junior Katie Rose Rankin (Sewickley, Pa., North Allegheny) claimed Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Golf Player of the Week honors Tuesday afternoon.

This is Rankin's third PAC Player of the Week award this season and ninth of her career.

Rankin was medalist at the Bedford Springs Invitational, presented by LAMPIRE Biological Laboratories, Last Tuesday. The event, which was hosted by Moravian, was played at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. Rankin finished with a three-over 75 to help Westminster claim the team title.

Up next:
Westminster will compete at the PAC Championships Friday and Saturday. The final two championship rounds will be played at Mill Creek Metroparks on the Mill Creek North Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio.
