9/8/2025 5:59:00 PM

LATROBE, Pa.-Junior Tyler Hager (Lehighton, Pa., Palmerton) was named medalist at Monday's Saint Vincent Invitational.

The nine-team, 54-player event was hosted by the Latrobe Country Club. Pitt-Bradford claimed the team title with a score of 308. Saint Vincent was the runner-up (314). Westminster was fifth with a 331.

Hager and La Roche's Ethan Raver both fired two-over 74's to top the individual leaderboard. Hager birdied the par four No. 1 to secure the individual title. Hager finished the day with nine pars, two birdies and an eagle on the par five No. 3.

Monday was Hager's second medalist award of his career. On April 16, 2024, he drilled a three-foot birdie putt on the fourth playoff hole at the Win Palmer Cup, edging Wittenberg's Nick Pidgeon for medalist. He shot a four-under 66 during the second round to force the playoff at the Allegheny Country Club. After remaining undecided on No. 1, No. 5 and No. 9, Hager's birdie on No. 17 capped a terrific two-day run. He wrapped up the 36-hole event with a three-under 137. Hager was one over (71) after his opening round.

Junior Jonathan Haddox (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) was one three players to tie for 24th with an 84 while freshman Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) tied for 30th with an 86. Senior Joshua Furman (Jefferson, Ohio, Jefferson) shot an 87, good for a six-way tie for 32nd place, while freshman Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant) tied five others for 41st with a 90.

Three freshmen players competed as individuals: Connor Ealy (Butler, Pa., Moniteau)Aiden Barker (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) and Matthew Sturchio (Sparta, N.J., Sparta). Ealy was 38th (88), Barker tied for 39th (89) and Sturchio tied for 41st (90).
