Morgan named PAC Newcomer of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster College freshman CeCe Morgan (Fairview, Pa., Cathedral Prep) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Golf Newcomer of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

This is the second PAC Newcomer of the Week award for Morgan this season (Sept. 2).

Morgan fired a 176 at the two-day Guy & Jean Kuhn Memorial Invitational, which was hosted by Allegheny at the Country Club of Meadville. She helped the Titans score a fourth-place finish among the eight competing teams. Morgan followed up Sunday's 85 with a 91 on Monday.

Next:
Westminster will compete in the two-day Catholic Fall Classic Saturday and Sunday. Hosted by Catholic at the Black Rock Golf Course in Hagerstown, Md., the event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day.
