OBERLIN, Ohio--Senior left fielder Derek Beach (Titusville, Pa., Titusville) led off the 10th inning with a walk and came around to score the game-winning run on a two-out error Tuesday for Westminster College in its 7-6 win over Oberlin College at Dill Field.

Westminster has now won three-straight games, running its season record to 3-2. The Titans have earned back-to-back extra inning victories. Oberlin fell to 2-5 this season.

Junior right fielder Andrew Wolf (Dillsburg, Pa., Northern) delivered a two-out, two-run home run to right field in the second. It was his first career long ball. Six-straight batters reached safely in the third, with freshman Nicholas Parrotto's (Mars, Pa., Seneca Valley) key two-run pinch hit triple helping the Titans get out to a 6-0 lead.

Oberlin, fueled by a five-run fifth inning, cut the Titans' lead to one before Zach Masnikoff tied the game at 6-6 with a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth. In the top of the 10th, Beach led off with a walk, advanced to second base on senior shortstop Braeden Campbell's (Glenshaw, Pa., Shaler) sacrifice bunt and went to third on sophomore center fielder Quinn Marquis' (Hinckley, Ohio, Highland) flyout to right field. He scored after graduate second baseman Logan Murgenovich (Aliquippa, Pa., Central Valley) reached on a two-out error by Oberlin.

Junior left-hander Josh Reed (Beaver Falls, Pa., Blackhawk) fired 5.1 relief innings to pick up his first win this season. He allowed one run (earned) on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts. Tuesday was the longest relief appearance of Reed's career.
