Five named All-PAC

TRAFFORD, Pa.--The Westminster College women's volleyball program had five players named All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Tuesday evening. 

Senior Shelby Rambo (East Palestine, Ohio, Crestview) earned First Team All-PAC, seniors Angie Nardone (Ellwood City, Pa., Lincoln) and Jamie Robertson (Los Angeles, Calif., Palisades Charter) were named Second Team All-PAC and senior Rachel LaSalvia (Columbus, Pa., Corry) and sophomore Morgan O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa., Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) were named Honorable Mention All-PAC.

Junior Liv Trent (Pittsburgh, Pa., Brentwood) and O'Brien were named to this year's PAC All-Tournament Team. 

Rambo was named an All-PAC selection for the third time in her career (Second Team in 2024, Honorable Mention in 2023). She ranked eighth in the PAC in both hitting percentage (.248) and total blocks (76.0). She wrapped up her collegiate career with 627 kills and 307.0 total blocks, which is tied for 22nd among active Division III leaders. A two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® selection, Rambo has been named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll three times. 

Nardone earned all-conference honors for the first time in her career. She had 534 assists, 224 digs and 20 service aces this season, totaling seven double-doubles. She finished her career with 1,818 assists, 994 digs and 97 aces. Nardone was named a CSC Academic All-District® selection in 2024 and has been recognized on the PAC's Academic Honor Roll twice.

Robertson was named all-conference for the first time in her career. She earned PAC Defensive Player of the Week recognition on Sept. 15. Robertson ranked fourth in the league in hitting percentage (.288) and ninth in total blocks (71.0). She finished the year with 133 kills and 35 service aces. Robertson wrapped up her four-year career with 271 kills, 133.0 total blocks and 55 aces. 

A two-time All-PAC honoree, LaSalvia was also a second team selection in 2024. This year, she finished with 221 kills, 143 digs and 20.0 total blocks. LaSalvia totaled 872 career kills, 702 career digs, 105.0 total blocks and 66 aces. She is a two-time CSC Academic All-District® selection and has been named to the PAC's Academic Honor Roll three times. 

This is O'Brien's first career all-conference honor. She finished the season with a team-high 251 kills to go along with 331 assists, 203 digs, 14 aces and 46.0 total blocks. Her four triple-doubles this season are tied for 17th in Division III. O'Brien is the lone PAC player to have a triple-double this year. She was named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll last fall. 

Junior Maggie Shadle (Marion Center, Pa., Marion Center) was recognized as a member of the PAC's Sportsmanship Team. The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams.

Westminster concluded its season with a 20-11 overall record and a conference record of 10-6. It was the Titans' fifth 20-win season since 2018. Westminster, the championship tournament's No. 3 seed in the North, fell to No. 1 in the North, Hiram, on Nov. 13 in the semifinal round after earning a four-set quarterfinal win over No. 2 Chatham on Nov. 11.
