Men's tennis falls to Geneva

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis team concluded its fall season Thursday afternoon with a 5-2 loss to Geneva.

Westminster's record fell to 0-2 while Geneva improved to 1-1.

Junior Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks) and graduate student Rick Ladjevich (West Middlesex, Pa., West Middlesex) both won their respective singles matches. Kenny defeated Owen Landis 6-0, 1-6, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Ladjevich won 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) against Luke Crawford at No. 5 singles. 

Westminster is scheduled to begin its spring season Thursday, March 19 against Franciscan to open its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) slate. Doubles action is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
