Scoreless through three innings, the Spartans plated a pair of runs in the fourth. Case Western Reserve's Amanda Riely drilled a two-run home run in the top of the sixth to extend the Spartans' lead to 4-0.

In the bottom of the sixth senior shortstop Alexis Yates (Oakdale, Pa. | South Fayette) and senior outfielder Brooke Atkins (New Castle, Pa. | Laurel) put together back-to-back one out base hits before senior first baseman Mackenzie Latess (New Castle, Pa., Laurel) delivered a two out, three-run home run to slash the deficit to 4-3. The Green Knights turned three hits and a Titan error into three runs in the bottom of the frame to push its lead to 6-2.

After St. Norbert added a run in the sixth, senior first baseman Mackenzie Latess (New Castle, Pa. | Laurel) roped a RBI double that scored senior outfielder Brooke Atkins (New Castle, Pa. | Laurel) before sophomore third baseman Mia Meholick (Dubois, Pa. | Dubois Central Catholic) drove in Latess with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh to close out the scoring.
