MEADVILLE, Pa.--The Westminster College women's swimming and diving program earned a 144-134 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) dual meet victory at Allegheny Friday night. 

Westminster (3-1, 2-0 PAC) claimed five first-place finishes at Mellon Pool. 

Graduate student Megan Routch (Imperial, Pa. | West Allegheny) recorded three first-place finishes. She won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2 minutes, 04.48 seconds, the 500 freestyle (5:31.43) and the 1000 freestyle (11:29.62).

Freshman Alexa Young (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Mount Lebanon) swept the diving events with 178.58 points scored on the one-meter board and 165.08 points on the three-meter board. 

Sophomore Sara MacMurdo (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Carlynton) scored a victory in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.79. She was the runner-up in the 100 freestyle (57.62).

Sophomore Christina Loewe (Austin, Texas | Veritas Academy) posted runner-up finishes in the 100 backstroke (1:02.81) and the 200 backstroke (2:17.57). Junior Olivia Herman (Hamburg, N.Y. |  Hamburg) was the runner-up in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.03) and the 200 breaststroke (2:42.26) while sophomore Amber Krebs (Whitewater, Wis. | Whitewater) finished as the runner-up in the 500 freestyle (5;56.62). Sophomore Isabella Barnabei (Oakland, N.J. | Indian Hills) was the runner-up in the 100 butterfly (1:09.56).

The 200 medley relay (1:56.28) and 200 freestyle relay (1:47.26) both finished second. Senior Shannon Geer (Greensburg, Pa. | Hempfield), Herman, Loewe and Krebs made up the 200 medley relay, while Routch, junior Kaylee Madey (Emsworth, Pa. | Avonworth), junior Lauren Tanis (Reading, Pa. | Fleetwood) and MacMurdo made up the 200 freestyle relay. 

Westminster is back in action on Saturday, January 21 when it hosts PAC rival Saint Vincent at 1 p.m.
